Who we are

Uiga is operated by Compval Trading and Services Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland ("Uiga", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this site, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, company, phone) when you register; the details you provide when requesting a quote; contact form submissions; and technical data such as IP address, used only for security (e.g. login rate limiting) and diagnosing faults. When you pay an accepted quote, payment is processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your card details ourselves.

How we use it

To respond to quote requests and enquiries, provide your account/portal, process payments via Stripe, and send service-related emails such as quote updates and payment confirmations. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payment processing) and our hosting provider. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Data retention

We keep account, quote, and payment records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Contact us at info@uiga.com to make a request.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, rate-limited login — to protect your data.
